Taiwan Land Bank Exhibition Hall

As one of branches of Taiwan National Museum, the Taiwan Land Bank Exhibition Hall takes Taiwanese people back to the old days. While the main museum strikes people with the majestic exterior and the foreign architecture, the Taiwan Land Bank Exhibition Hall on the other hand kept all the original interiors from old times and shows how gold and silver yuanbao were locked inside the treasury, how loan certificates were stored, and pictures of the early Taipei City. After a tour of the early Taipei, the exhibition hall in the back is what excites the kids: life size dinosaur specimens! From Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus, all the way to Pterodactyl are displayed in here. Though there hasn’t been an official dinosaur fossil found here in Taiwan, it is still pretty amazing to see dinosaur fossil replicas from such a close distance. Besides the year-long crowded National Palace Museum, National Museum of Taiwan History, and the Taipei 228 Memorial Museum, Taiwan Land Bank Exhibition Hall is definitely recommended for a great tour.
