Taipei City Children's Amusement Park

Taipei City Children's Amusement Park is the relocation of the former Children's Amusement Park in Yuanshan. The new location in Shilin is right next to National Taiwan Science Education Center, making it a recreational, cultural, and educational hotspot in Taipei. For parents traveling with the little ones, a visit to Taipei Astronomical Museum in the morning will leave the afternoon to explore the much-loved amusement park. As for the night time activities, the well-known Shilin Night Market in the proximity will keep you entertained.

Entrance tickets and amusement rides are charged to the EasyCard (the stored-value card of the Taipei Metro). Fret not even if you don’t have an EasyCard. Get your tickets at the entrance where you can also rent an EasyCard — make sure you top it up before heading to the rides though. These rides are designated family rides, including the Ferris wheel, bumper cars, teacups, the roller coaster, the free fall ride, and many more. The largest sandpit in Taiwan is also available outdoors, with great facilities to keep children of all ages entertained. All of them are kid-friendly but might be less exciting for adults.

As the one and only amusement in downtown Taipei, Taipei City Children's Amusement Park is a definite crowd magnet on weekends. When there is an extra long weekend, queuing is inevitable. To make sure that you have a pleasant experience here, a visit during the weekdays is highly recommended.
