Princess Annie's Garden

Those garden restaurants gathering around Taichung Xinshe District mostly follow the success of Lavender Cottage. Moreover, these restaurants have once brought sightseers to rural area, which originally adapted for mushroom plantation. While some being able to grow, majority of them did fail. Princess Annie’s Garden is one of very few garden restaurants that still open for more than a decade. Although flooding complaints such as impolite attendants, seasonal disturbance of mosquitos and insects and poor food quality had once drawn customers back from visiting, this restaurant manages to maintain its competitiveness and capable to constantly improve its overall standard. Such effort helps it to gain another chance from disappointed visitors, and eventually reach its current popularity that the place would be full of customers whenever holiday. The restaurant provides several hundred seats varying from indoor, wooden pavilion and outdoor and a wide variety of western cuisine, dessert and drinks. Lovely decoration and small items catching kids’ heart are key elements leading to its success. The garden is not large, so you could expect to stay for a couple of hours for your meal or afternoon tea.
