The Dome of Light - KRT Station

CNN has ranked the Formosa Boulevard Station as one of the 11 most beautiful subway stations in the world! Although the Kaohsiung MRT is not as crowded as Taipei, and there are only a few lines, the designs of several stations are world-renowned. The most famous of course is the four exits of the Formosa Boulevard Station, which are constructed of transparent glass and look like the Luce Memorial Chapel at Tunghai University.

When you enter the station, you will see the colorful glass artwork ""The Dome of Light"", and a large group of young people taking selfies nearby. The Kaohsiung International Airport Station is another popular destination for photographers, where you can see how art is integrated into the design of the station.

Finally, the Central Park Station was ranked in the top 50 of the most beautiful subway stations in the world in 2011 and 2012. This station has a very large underground space, including two floors and three exits. When you take the escalator out of Central Park, you will see yellow flower fans waving at you on both sides.
