West Lake Resortopia

Located in the Sanyi Township of Miaoli, West Lake Resortopia is home to a natural lake that provides unrivalled beauty and perfection as the well-known West Lake in Hangzhou, hence the name. Established in 1989, this theme park was a hot spot in the last few decades. After a recent renovation, it is now a Hans Christian Andersen-themed amusement park that excites children and adults alike.

At this park dedicated to Andersen’s fairy tales, you will find statues depicting his characters scattered all around and learn about the author himself through interactive displays. There is also a mini-train that takes you on a ride around the grounds of the park. When you get to the tranquil West Lake, you may either glide across the lake in a swan pedal boat or enjoy a cup of tea by the shimmering lake in the most soothing surroundings ever.
