Jimmy Plaza

Jimmy is a famous picture book creator in Taiwan, whose playful style presents deep and sobering stories. Several of his most popular picture books have been adapted into films, such as Turn Left, Turn Right (向左走‧向右走) starring Takeshi Kaneshiro (金城武) and Gigi Leung (梁詠琪), Sound of Colors (地下鐵) starring Chang Chen (張震) 與Miriam Yeung (楊千嬅),and Starry Starry Night (星空) starring Rene Liu (劉若英) and Harlem Yu (庾澄慶). To the south of Yilan Train Station, there are many abandoned living quarters and empty spaces, which, with the cooperation of Jimmy, have been transformed into a place where the young and young at heart love to play and take photographs. Many of Jimmy’s famous characters and scenes have been reproduced here, such as the most popular flying train from Starry Starry Night, statues of the lead characters pulling their luggage in Turn Left, Turn Right, and the famous giraffe at the rear of the train platform.
