Fenglin Strawberry Picking

Fenglin starts to grow strawberries at the beginning of 21st century. The local farmers received help from the government to get the organic license. There are three different strawberry species here and they are all juicy and sweet with irresistible scents. The way of nurturing the strawberries is also special here. They don’t use pesticide and use the natural enemy insects of the insects that eat the fruit. They also gather expired milk from supermarket to fertilize the farm. Don’t underestimate the strawberries by their look. They don’t look as pretty as other strawberries growing with chemical fertilizer and pesticides, but they indeed present the flavor of the healthy soil in the east rift valley! Please come around February when the fruits are fully-grown. Take a basket and walk around the farm to find the red fruit hiding under the leave. Take them back and enjoy the fresh spring in your mouth!
