Moncoeur

Moncoeur (心之芳庭), located in the Da Keng area of Taichung, is a highly popular spot for Instagram-worthy photos. It brings the European charm directly to Taiwan, with its charming Time House, Chocolate House, and the recently added Rose Window. The lush and romantic atmosphere of Southern France permeates the entire park, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely afternoon tea with friends and family by the stunning fountain plaza.

The park features numerous photo-worthy spots, making it a great choice for photography enthusiasts. With unique seasonal flowers and whimsical cottages, strolling through Moncoeur (心之芳庭) always brings a sense of tranquility and joy. However, the park is relatively small, and is occasionally used for hosting wedding banquets, so visitors may find that they can explore the entire park in about 20 minutes. It's best to plan to have a meal here to avoid feeling bored.

Admission to the park is NT$200 , which can be used as a NT$150 credit towards purchases of ice cream, snacks, afternoon tea, chocolates, handmade soaps, and souvenirs. It's worth noting that there can be a lot of mosquitoes in the summer, but the park entrance also provides mosquito repellent.

Since its establishment in 2001, Lavender Cottage has attracted millions of tourists who come to admire its beautiful purple lavenders. On weekends, Valentine's Day, and Christmas Eve, many couples visit the lovely garden to bask in its romantic atmosphere. In response to numerous requests from enamored visitors seeking to hold their weddings at Lavender Cottage, the hosts decided to expand their horizons. However, due to the limited space and inadequate facilities in the garden, they were unable to provide the ideal wedding location for Taiwanese couples. This led them to embark on a new project specifically dedicated to weddings. After several years of hard work and an investment of 200 million New Taiwan dollars, the hosts unveiled Moncoeur (心之芳庭) in 2009.

""Mon coeur"" in French translates to ""my heart,"" and the hosts of Moncoeur (心之芳庭) make a heartfelt promise that every visitor will have an unforgettable experience at their garden. Apart from hosting weddings, they have also dedicated themselves to adorning the garden with various charming and whimsical features. Wooden doors, flowers, lanterns, brick houses, colorful mailboxes, and chocolates make it a wonderful place for photography, whether for newlyweds or for sightseers.
